Words and Wine
Celebrate the start of the weekend by raising a glass with us! Joe Trotter from Edinburgh’s independent wine merchants Great Grog will take you through a tempting array of wines, sharing each drink’s story and history. Each wine will be poetically paired with a performance by acclaimed spoken word poet Kate Ireland.
Kate Ireland’s work, which spans poetry, music and theatre, captures the zeitgeist. She has performed headline shows across the UK, and her debut poetry collection, Adaptive Strategies for a Sensitive System, is newly out with Burning Eye Books.
This event is for 18+ only and ticket price covers the drinks (and poetry!) at this event. Please note that there will be no non-alcoholic options.
