In Conversation with Len Pennie
Last year, Len Pennie’s hotly anticipated debut collection, poyums, was an instant bestseller, nominated for and receiving multiple awards. So we’re absolutely thrilled that she’s already followed it up with a second collection, poyums annaw. These poems are a call to arms, confronting ideas of patriarchy, gender-based violence and societal injustice with equal parts tenderness, quick-wit and righteous fury.
Join Len, in conversation with Festival Director Emma Collins, for a mixture of readings from and discussion about this incisive and fiercely honest collection.
This event will be BSL interpreted.
