Fluid Words: The Poetry of Water
In this Zoom masterclass, poet and critic Michael Hofmann will dissect and explore the nuances of selected poems, inviting participants to engage in deep analysis and lively discussion. This interactive session will offer fresh perspectives on our theme “Living Water,” enriching your appreciation of poetry through collaborative interpretation.
Michael Hofmann was born in Germany, and grew up in England, Scotland and the United States. He has published six books of poems, translated many books from the German, and taught for years at the University of Florida.

Join us for a ghostly nocturne and a fictional panel where ancestors in displaced genders speak of their fantasia of being a good alien through chanting and performance lectures.
