Vicki Husband

Vicki Husband’s first poetry collection, This Far Back Everything Shimmers, was shortlisted for the Saltire Scottish Poetry Book of the Year 2016, a pamphlet-long poem, Sykkel Saga, was published in 2019. Vicki has worked as an OT in NHS community rehabilitation in Glasgow for 20 years. Vicki has been awarded prizes in the inaugural Edwin Morgan International Poetry competition and the Mslexia Poetry prize among others and in 2024 won the Hippocrates Poetry and Medicine Health Professionals prize. A second poetry book related to health and the city, is to due be published by Vagabond Voices in 2025.
