Tim Tim Cheng

Tim Tim Cheng is the author of Tapping At Glass (VERVE, 2023), which was a Poetry Society Book of the Year and shortlisted for The Kavya Prize. Her debut collection The Tattoo Collector (Nine Arches Press, 2024) is a Poetry Book Society Recommendation. She co-edited Where Else: An International Hong Kong Poetry Anthology (Verve, 2023). She was born and raised in Hong Kong, currently based between London and Glasgow. She is a member of the Southbank Centre New Poets Collective, an Ignite Fellow with Scottish Book Trust, and a mentee of Roddy Lumsden Memorial Mentorship Scheme. In her work, she explores the relationship between languages, places, the body, and class. She often collaborates with musicians and translates between English and Chinese. Her most recent project is to develop a short poetry-film. She also curates literary events with Red Bean Poetry and co-hosts a Cantonese podcast on Anglophone poetry. timtimcheng.com
