Ross Somerville

Ross Somerville is composer/sound designer and music producer from Dunfermline, Fife. He has provided soundtracks and design for over 30 productions worldwide and including collaborations with artists and touring companies from Paris, Toronto and New York. His work has been heard in the Traverse Theatre, The Latitude Festival, The CCA and at the Caribbean Tales International Film Festival. He accompanied Poet Imogen Stirling on her debut show #Hypocrisy and has since deputised with her for stripped back shows of Love the Sinner including a performance at the Perth Museum in September 2023. Currently, he is the Sound Designer for the upcoming production of Knights’ Theatre’s Jennie Lee: Tomorrow is a New Day which is set to premiere on the 1st of November this year. Ross produces his own music under the moniker Somer., which blends mellow electronica with cinematic soundscapes and feel-good energy.
