Gray Crosbie

Gray Crosbie is a Glasgow-based poet, performer, theatre maker and zine enthusiast. Their work often focuses on themes of queerness, gender, sex, mental health and mythology. They perform regularly at poetry and cabaret nights around Scotlan; have featured at festivals such as the Edinburgh International Book Festival, Glastonbury and Hidden Door; and have been a finalist at poetry slams run by Loud Poets, Hammer and Tongue, and at the Scottish Nationals. Their poetry has been published in various anthologies and magazines, and has aired on TV through their work with BBC The Social and the Scottish Green Party. In 2022, they wrote and staged Lycanthropy, a spoken word theatre show, funded by Creative Scotland, which explores masculinity from a trans-masculine perspective through a story about modern-day werewolves. Their pamphlet of flash-fiction, Love, Pan-Fried, is available from Knight Errant Press.
