Genevieve Carver

Genevieve Carver is a writer working in poetry, fiction and interdisciplinary collaboration. Her previous titles include A Beautiful Way to be Crazy (Verve Poetry Press), and Landsick (Broken Sleep Books). Her most recent book, Birds / Humans / Machines / Dolphins (Guillemot Press) is the result of a residency with marine biologists from the University of Aberdeen writing in response to ecological field research studying dolphin populations in the Moray Firth, and fulmars in Orkney. Her poetry has appeared in journals including Mslexia, The White Review, The North, the London Magazine, Magma and Poetry News, and she won The Moth Nature Writing Prize 2022. She is currently a Royal Literary Fund Fellow at the University of Aberdeen.
