Dawn Watson
Dawn Watson was born in Belfast and is a lecturer in creative writing at Queen’s University. Her debut collection We Play Here is published with Granta Poetry (August 2023). She completed a PhD in poetry at the Seamus Heaney Centre in 2022 and is the author of the pamphlet The Stack of Owls Is Getting Higher (The Emma Press, 2019). Her work has been broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and published in journals including Granta and the Poetry Review.
