Rock the Boat is Push the Boat Out’s longstanding monthly open mic! Taking place on the first Thursday of every month at Summerhall, it’s a great, welcoming and safe place to try out new work – or even to step up the mic for the very first time. Though we are an anglophone open mic, poets often perform multilingually, and we particularly encourage poets to share work in Gaelic and Scots. Find out about our next event here.
