Jennie E. Owen

Jennie E. Owen is a senior lecturer and staff tutor with the Open University, having taught Creative Writing for over 20 years. Her writing has been widely published online, in anthologies, and literary journals such as Magma, Wasafiri, The Rialto, Banshee Press, Tears in the Fence, and Acumen. She has received nominations for the Pushcart, Best of the Net and Forward Prizes. Her pamphlet The Horses Still Run was published in 2024 by The Flight of the Dragonfly Press. Her collection Tips for Collectors of the Macabre will be published later this year by Yaffle Press. Jennie is currently reading for her PhD at Manchester Metropolitan University, focusing on poetry and places of trauma.
