James Wyness

James Wyness is a musician and sound artist. He composes electroacoustic music and new music for solo fingerstyle guitars. As a sound artist his work ranges from public ritual, the sonification of climate change data, environmental sound and the voice, with a particular interest in spoken Scots. He also incorporates lens-based media and text in commissioned work relating to the complexity of landscape and the rural environment.
