Chisom Okoronkwo

Chisom Okoronkwo is a Nigerian writer and spoken word artist. She holds an MLitt in Creative Writing from the University of Glasgow and is the founder and curator of the Afro-Scottish Events, a platform that celebrates multicultural voices through poetry, music, and storytelling. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Brittle Paper, Isele Magazine, Ake Review, Blue Marble Review, PoetryColumn, Lunar Journal, Thi Wurd, Mukana Press, and more. She was a finalist in the Dumfries heat of the 2025 Loud Poets Slam Series, the winner of the 2023 Shuzia Journey of the Soul Poetry Contest, and has been shortlisted for several major literary prizes, including the Isele Short Story Prize.
