Push the Boat Out is now a registered charity. Donations from people like you are vital in supporting us to keep offering this unique, vibrant, eclectic festival, alongside our growing community and year round programmes. With your help we can continue to contribute to increasing the diversity of poetry – in form, cross-art form pollination, voices platformed and who feels welcome as audiences and participants.

Even a small amount can help us to pay artists fairly, cover travel to the festival, offer our free development support to poets and work with communities in Edinburgh. It helps us to keep our tickets affordable with a number of free and Pay What You Can events, and to increase accessibility with hybrid events and BSL interpretation.
