Eloise Birtwhistle
Eloise Birtwhistle’s poetry has been published in various journals including New Writing Scotland, Mslexia, Gutter Magazine, SPAM Zine and Wet Grain. She won a 2023 New Writers Award; was a Finalist of the Mslexia and Poetry Book Society Women's Poetry Prize; and holds an MLitt in Creative Writing (with Distinction) from the University of Glasgow. A previous recipient of a St Mungo's Mirrorball Clydebuilt Apprenticeship, she now co-ordinates the Clydebuilt scheme. Eloise delivers community arts projects and has led creative writing workshops for Glasgow Women's Library, National Library of Scotland, University of Edinburgh, Survivor Arts Community, and the Inverclyde Homeless Centre. She currently works for the LGBTQIA+ charity LEAP Sports Scotland.
