Alistair Heather

Alistair Heather works widely in Scotland's media and cultural spheres. He writes and presents documentaries for Radio 4, BBC Scotland and elsewhere, as well as writing for magazines and newspapers on subjects such as culture, history, travel and politics. He and Kathleen Jamie worked closely together during the latter's time as Scotland's Makar. They created The Lantern Scottish Poetry Podcast, a high-quality new podcast that platforms some of the finest voices in modern Scottish letters. He regularly chairs events at book festivals and beyond.
