At Push the Boat Out we love to see conversation and collaboration between poetry and other artistic disciplines. But what is involved in adapting poetry and spoken word for theatre, how closely are these art forms related and what can be found – or lost – in the translation between them?
Join leading poets and playwrights, Imogen Stirling (Love the Sinner), Hannah Lavery (Blood Salt Spring) and Harry Josephine Giles (Deep Wheel Orcadia) to ask these questions and hear about their own experiences of working across disciplines. Chaired by Stephanie Katie Hunter, Artistic Director of Scissor Kick.
