Red Lecture Theatre and Online
The ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival has been running since 2002. At the time of its inception it was the first international platform for short films based on poems – poetry films – and is still the biggest of its kind. It offers poets, film makers and festival organisers from all over the world a platform for creative exchange, and the attention of a wide audience. In its “Best Of ZEBRA” programme, the Haus für Poesie presents a selection of best poetry films of the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festivals 2016-2021, including poems by Ghayath Almadhoun, John Ashbery, WH Auden, Eduard Escoffet, Hind Shoufani, Gary Synder and Zêdan Xelef.
There are two opportunities to watch these films in person across the weekend:
- Saturday 5 Nov 3:00pm
- Sunday 6 Nov 3:00pm
They will be available to watch online from this page.
